Audio & Visual Ministry
The Audio & Visual (A/V) Ministry serves the church by supporting worship, preaching, and congregational participation through sound, visuals, lighting, and livestream. Our goal is simple: that the Word of God is clearly seen, clearly heard, and free from unnecessary distraction.
This ministry works behind the scenes, but its impact is felt every Sunday.
What the A/V Team Does
Members of the A/V team may serve in one or more of the following areas:
- Audio – Mixing microphones and instruments to support congregational singing and the preaching of the Word
- Visuals – Operating ProPresenter for lyrics, Scripture, sermon slides, and videos
- Lighting – Supporting visibility and atmosphere without drawing attention away from worship
- Livestream – Operating cameras and streaming software to serve those watching remotely
- Organization & Care – Maintaining the sound booth, stage, and storage areas, including cables and A/V equipment
Some team members also help by serving in media-related roles, including:
- Photography and videography during services or events
- Assisting with recording the weekly ministry highlights
- Helping maintain a consistent and faithful online presence
Training & Experience
No prior experience is required.
Training is provided, and new volunteers are paired with experienced team members. Faithfulness, teachability, and a servant’s heart matter far more than technical skill.
Time Commitment
A typical commitment looks like:
- Approximately 4 hours per month
- Serving 1 Sunday and 1 Wednesday per month
