MEET OUR PASTOR
Kyle D. Seeger has served as the Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel Fayetteville (CCFAY) since 2019, when the church was replanted. Born in Sarasota, Florida, Kyle came to faith in Jesus Christ at a young age and has been walking with the Lord ever since, following His leading into a lifetime of ministry as an under-shepherd in Christ’s church.
Kyle married his heartthrob, Megan, in 2012, and together they have been blessed with four children—Johanna, Bella, Haddon-Kyle (diagnosed with a rare double chromosomal deletion syndrome), and Henry-John.
Before entering full-time ministry, Kyle served in the United States Army for 14 years. He enlisted in 2011, deployed to Afghanistan from 2012–2013 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, and earned his commission as an officer in 2017. He concluded his military career in 2025 as the Assistant Secretary to the General Staff at the United States Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations Command (Airborne) at Ft. Bragg, N.C.
Kyle holds a B.A. in Biblical Studies from Calvary Bible College and Liberty University, a Master of Arts in Theological Studies (M.A.T.S.) from Liberty University, and a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) from Carolina College of Biblical Studies.
As a pastor, Kyle’s heartbeat is the joyful leadership of Christ’s church and the clear, faithful exposition of God’s Word. His ministry emphasizes declaring the whole counsel of God, making disciples, equipping believers, and pointing people to the sufficiency of Jesus and His Word in every area of life.
In his spare time, Kyle enjoys relaxing with a good cigar (often in the company of a dear friend), weightlifting, reading, and playing video games—Assassin’s Creed and Call of Duty are his favorite franchises. He enjoys walking (steady-state cardio :)) and aspires to be John Wick’s personal trainer and range coach as well as an author, with a future goal of competing in at least one MMA competition. He’s a dedicated family man who treasures intentional time with his beautiful bride Megan and their kids, and he’ll never tire of a good superhero movie. He’s a loyal friend and a companion of a few “good” men.
Batman is his best friend, and you’ve never seen Superman and Kyle in the same room.
Ezra 7:10 – “For Ezra had set his heart to study the Law of the Lord, and to do it and to teach his statutes and rules in Israel.”
