Clean Team


The clean team is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the church property. They meet for 1.5 hours every Saturday  for basic cleaning duties around the building. This team also be called on to help clean up after large, whole church events.

Commitment: 1.5 hours; 1-2 Saturdays a month

Sample Routine:
•Kitchen first.  Empty and/or fill the dishwasher if needed.   Sweep up any food on the floor. Quick wipe on countertops and sink.
•Go through and empty all the garbage cans throughout church, put in large
garbage cans in the foyer.
•Pick up any toys off the floor.  Sweep children's rooms.  You can sweep the small stuff into the hallway and pick it up with the vacuum later.
•Start vacuuming in the 6th - 8th Grade Children’s Room and loop around the hallway by the other children’s rooms, hit the rugs in the foyer/cafe/kitchen and then the hallway by the bathrooms, the main office area. You can use the corded Dyson for the main vacuuming.  Use the cordless Dyson for the Sanctuary, it’s easier to maneuver between the chairs.
•Vacuum/Sweep Cafe & Foyer Floor & Rugs
•Clean hand & fingerprints off the glass doors with Windex.
•Empty/Replace kitchen and foyer garbage bags and put in the outside dumpster.
