The Jackson Family Home Fellowship
The Jackson Family Home Fellowship is a small family with a big desire to glorify God and further the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe that ministry begins in the home, where faith is lived out, discipleship is practiced, and the love of Christ is demonstrated to one another and to those God brings into our lives.
Our family motto is simple:
“If it doesn’t build the Kingdom of God, then we will not be a part of it.”
Matthew 6:10 (CSB) “Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
This motto reminds us to be intentional with our time, talents, resources, and relationships. We desire for everything we do to point people toward Jesus Christ and encourage others to know, love, and follow Him.
Our ministry is grounded in the command to demonstrate genuine Christian love:
“This is how we know what love is: He laid down his life for us. We should also lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. If anyone has this world’s goods and sees a fellow believer in need but withholds compassion from him—how does God’s love reside in him? Little children, let us not love in word or speech, but in action and in truth.” — 1 John 3:16–18 (CSB)
We are committed to weekly family-oriented ministry, believing that families can serve together, learn together, and proclaim the truth of Scripture together every Sunday between 2:4:30. We also understand and give grace when others can’t commit to attending weekly. A special emphasis of our fellowship is Christian apologetics (1 Peter 3:15), helping families and individuals understand why we believe what we believe and equipping them to give a thoughtful and biblical defense of the Christian faith.
1 Peter 3:15 (CSB) but in your hearts regard Christ the Lord as holy, ready at any time to give a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you.
At the heart of our fellowship is an invitation to experience God’s goodness:
“Taste and see that the LORD is good. How happy is the person who takes refuge in him!” — Psalm 34:8 (CSB)
We also love sharing God’s blessings through cooking, baking, fellowship, and hospitality. Food provides a wonderful opportunity to bring people together around the table, build relationships, encourage one another, and create meaningful conversations about the things of God. Whether through a home-cooked meal, a freshly baked treat, Bible study, apologetics discussions, or simply opening our home to others, we want our hospitality to be an expression of Christ’s love.
